A T. rex, triceratops or brachiosaurus skeleton that holds any pose you give it.

In short: Poseable dinosaur skeleton (T. rex, triceratops or brachiosaurus): ribs slotted onto the spine, neck, head, tail and legs on pins that hold any pose. Checked through the whole range of motion.
The classic wooden dinosaur kit, but poseable. Pick a T. rex, a triceratops or a brachiosaurus and a length, and you get a complete skeleton: a spine with ribs that slot onto it from below, a pelvis and shoulder blades glued up from plates, and a neck, head, tail and legs that turn on dowel pins.
The pins are pressed into one side of each joint and turn stiffly in the other, so the skeleton stays the way you leave it: head down sniffing the ground, tail swishing, mid-stride. Every joint is checked through its whole range of motion, so no bone hits another however you pose it. The 3D preview has a slider per joint, so you can try poses before you cut.
An optional stand (one rib that reaches down to a base between the feet) keeps the two-legged T. rex upright. The skull has its eye socket and skull windows cut out, with the mouth and teeth engraved.
You need: plywood, dowel for the pins, and glue. Cut the fit test first to get the pin holes right.
All of these can be changed in the app, and the 3D preview updates as you type. The name under each setting
is its key in a share link, e.g. https://laserpuzzle.app/app/#/dino-skeleton?species=…; a link only
needs the settings that differ from the defaults.
