Six notched sticks that lock into a cross, proven to go together before you cut them.

In short: A six-piece burr: notched sticks that lock into a cross, each glued up from sheets. A solver takes every design apart, so it is proven to go together, and rates it by the moves to free the first piece.
A six-piece burr is the classic interlocking puzzle: six notched sticks that lock together into a three-way cross. Each stick here is glued up from sheets, so it can be cut on any laser.
The hard part of a burr is not drawing the sticks but knowing that a given set of notches can be assembled at all. This generator runs a solver on every design before showing it: it takes the puzzle apart move by move, so a design that can't be put together is never sent to the laser. It also rates the design by its level, the number of moves before the first piece comes free, so you can choose an easy one or a hard one.
The take-apart sequence is in the assembly notes; putting it together is the same sequence backwards.
You need: plywood and glue. A good fit matters for a puzzle that slides, so cut the fit test first.
All of these can be changed in the app, and the 3D preview updates as you type. The name under each setting
